About The Position
We’re currently in search of a General Manager for our rooftop restaurant, WATR serving Japanese-influenced cuisine in a bright and breezy environment with stunning lake views. We’re specifically seeking someone with strong beverage knowledge who can complement and elevate our overall dining experience. Someone who shares these values and will champion them. Who strives to be a leader second-to-none, knows how to motivate a team, elevate standards, and cultivate an environment for learning as we all continue to grow. We’re looking for a people magnet, a genius at anticipating obstacles and finding quick solutions. Most important, someone who’s not afraid to get in the trenches with their team to achieve the ultimate outcome.
Requirements
- Passionate about food & beverage
- A minimum of 8 years of similar work experience in an upscale luxury environment
- Min. 5 years leading a food & beverage team
- An expert in food & beverage operations
- A strong leader
- Proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
- Excels at communication, both verbal and written
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Nice To Haves
- A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus
- Strong beverage knowledge
