About The Position

Circles is looking for an energetic, commercially driven, and hungry General Manager (GM) to spearhead our market operations, drive growth, and own the regional business footprint. This is not a traditional corporate maintenance role—we need a builder who is eager to make a massive impact and prove themselves on a global stage. As the GM, you will hold full accountability for the regional business performance, spanning the entire lifecycle from expansion to renewals. You will work in a lockstep, co-ownership model with our Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to seamlessly bridge commercial ambition with cutting-edge telco technology, unlocking massive ecosystem value.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years of deep experience within the telecommunications sector driving growth in the US market.
  • Strong understanding of BSS and OSS domain.
  • Proven, hands-on experience navigating both B2C and B2B business models.
  • Proven P&L Delivery: A track record of owning and delivering against substantial P&L targets, with clear examples of driving business scale, turnaround, or rapid expansion.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner deeply with highly technical leaders (like a CTO or Chief Architect) to sell and deliver complex technology solutions.
  • High Energy & Hunger: You are a self-starter who operates with urgency. You are highly motivated to exceed expectations and establish yourself as a premier industry leader.
  • Commercial Sharpness: Exceptional negotiation, structuring, and deal-making skills.
  • Exceptional Relationship Management: A charismatic leader capable of building instant rapport, managing friction, and aligning diverse stakeholders behind a single vision.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L Ownership: Drive target financial performance, taking absolute accountability for regional annual revenue, margin management, and bottom-line health.
  • Joint Expansion Targets: Partner directly with the Field CTO to identify, pursue, and capture new market expansion opportunities, combining commercial strategy with technical capability.
  • Retention & Renewal: Safeguard existing revenue streams by building deep client relationships and securing long-term contract renewals across our portfolio.
  • Ecosystem & Relationship Management: Act as the primary face of Circles in the market, establishing high-trust relationships with major operators, regulatory bodies, and enterprise partners.
  • Commercial Leadership & Market Expansion: Formulate and execute aggressive growth strategies across both B2C (Consumer) and B2B (Enterprise/SaaS) telco business segments.
  • Co-lead the expansion framework alongside the Field CTO, ensuring that our SaaS/software value proposition aligns perfectly with the commercial needs of regional operators.
  • Navigate complex, high-value sales cycles from initial prospecting through to contract finalization and execution.
  • General Management & Operations: Break down silos by leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver against localized market needs.
  • Cultivate a high-performance, high-accountability culture aligned with Circles' fast-paced, digital-first DNA.
  • Ensure absolute alignment between regional business strategies and global product/engineering capabilities.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Own senior executive relationships (C-suite and Board level) at partner telcos and enterprise clients.
  • Effectively manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, balancing local operational realities with global corporate objectives.
