About The Position

CCR Search is partnering with an established cabinetry manufacturer to hire a General Manager for a new dealer and distributor channel. The company brings proven manufacturing capabilities, experience delivering cabinetry and interior solutions to construction customers, and a commitment to product quality and customer service. This opportunity combines the resources of an established business with the ability to build a new channel from the ground up. This leader will develop the channel strategy, secure foundational customer relationships, own the business line P&L, and build the team and processes needed for profitable growth. Working closely with the CEO and reporting to the COO, the General Manager will have substantial responsibility for shaping the business and executing its growth plan. We are seeking an entrepreneurial cabinetry leader who has successfully launched and scaled a dealer or distributor network. The right person brings established relationships, strong financial judgment, and the willingness to personally win business while building the organization around them.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a cabinetry dealer or distributor channel from an early stage, with measurable revenue and profitability results.
  • Strong relationships with cabinetry dealers, kitchen and bath businesses, distributors, and relevant industry decision makers.
  • Experience owning a business line or company P&L, including pricing, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to personally develop business and recruit, coach, and lead a sales and customer support team.
  • Strong understanding of cabinetry products, channel economics, freight considerations, and the connection between manufacturing and customer service.
  • Comfort evaluating and adopting CRM, ERP, dealer portals, and emerging technology; ability to translate customer needs into practical business processes.
  • An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach, sound judgment, and the ability to build structure while operating in a developing business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to travel frequently.
  • Experience taking a business or channel from launch to meaningful scale is especially valuable.
  • Candidates who have built a channel to approximately $20 million or more in revenue are encouraged to apply; larger-company experience is welcome when it includes direct responsibility for creating and growing the channel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for cabinetry dealers, kitchen and bath businesses, and distributors, including target accounts, market priorities, and geographic expansion.
  • Use established industry relationships and direct prospecting to win foundational accounts, negotiate agreements, and build lasting customer partnerships.
  • Own the channel P&L, budgets, forecasts, pricing, and profitability; balance distributor volume with dealer margins and evaluate freight costs and manufacturing capacity.
  • Define account, territory, and pricing policies that support channel partners and manage potential conflicts with other sales channels.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop regional sales, inside sales, dealer success, and technical support talent as the business grows.
  • Partner with operations and manufacturing to align customer commitments with production, order accuracy, quality, lead times, and delivery performance.
  • Help shape and implement a dealer portal and supporting technology, including practical AI-enabled workflows that simplify quoting, order submission, and the customer experience.
  • Establish onboarding, account management, and technical review processes that connect customer specifications and orders accurately to plant systems.
  • Track revenue, gross margin, active accounts, pipeline conversion, repeat orders, and service performance; use results to refine strategy and investment decisions.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Traditional and Roth 401(k) options with company match.
  • Employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance and long-term disability coverage.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
