About The Position

JLL is seeking a General Manager for their dynamic growing Industrial Property Management team in Irvine, California. This role will drive operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge industrial facilities. The General Manager will provide leadership to their team and outstanding customer service to clients, while managing an industrial portfolio. Responsibilities include all aspects of client and tenant satisfaction, preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and developing staff. The role requires excellent communication skills with building owners and tenants to ensure successful relationships. The General Manager will contribute to establishing and refining work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices, and will develop successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication. The position emphasizes a people-focused approach, understanding the needs, perspectives, and motivations of clients and team members, and managing relationships for seamless conflict resolution and client retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of Property Management experience (Industrial preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Experience preparing and building out budgets in Yardi, including CAM pools, CAM reconciliations, and other related financial reports
  • Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation, and administration
  • 3rd party management experience required (institutional client experience preferred)
  • Strong people management skills, including leading a growing PM team
  • CA Real Estate License required within 6 months
  • Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the organization and external clients
  • Proficiency in the use and application of technology tools and a continuous desire to develop technology skillset
  • Proven track record of results
  • Ability to act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Desire to contribute to a diverse, supportive, and talented team
