As a General Manager - Peerless Pump , you will be leading the full scope of the Peerless Pump business - setting strategic direction, driving profitable growth, and building a high-performing organization across commercial, operational, and functional activities within the broader Grundfos ecosystem. Requirements
- Strategic industrial leader with deep P&L ownership experience, a strong operational backbone, sharp commercial acumen, and a genuine passion for building capable organizations and cultures of ownership and continuous improvement.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including senior roles with full P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and engineering-driven businesses
- Proven track record of leading business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives at scale
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing leadership teams and drive organizational capability development
- Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field (Master's, MBA or equivalent preferred)
- Experience working in a matrixed, international organization
- Familiarity with fire protection, municipal, or industrial pump markets
Responsibilities
- Own full P&L including revenue, EBIT, and cash flow; set and execute the business strategy aligned with Grundfos group priorities and Peerless Pump's market positioning
- Drive commercial growth across fire protection, municipal, and industrial pump markets through effective pricing, channel strategy, and customer value propositions
- Lead manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to deliver best-in-class safety, delivery, cost, and quality through lean and continuous improvement practices
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing senior management team with clear accountability, succession plans, and strong talent pipelines
- Oversee Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) with focus on medium- to long-term capacity and demand decisions
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and governance requirements—including proactive management of operational, financial, and people-related business risks
