About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a General Manager for its Advanced Solution rental facility in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for leading a team and managing operations to maximize the financial success of the branch. Advanced Solutions branches specialize in equipment rentals for fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air, and site/event services. The company utilizes proprietary T3 technology to provide real-time insights into fleet management and operations, aiming to transform the construction industry.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years rental industry experience, preferably in a management role.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Employment is contingent on passing a background check.
  • Some roles require passing a drug test, depending on the job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air or site services is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a team through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and providing guidance.
  • Manage branch operations to maximize financial success, including conducting monthly profit and loss reviews.
  • Monitor key metrics such as equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate information to the team and management.
  • Establish reasonable and measurable goals with clear expectations for team members.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
