About The Position

We are looking for a unique leader who wants to have a stake in the long-term success of a well-established company moving into an exciting new phase of its life cycle. This growth, along with the company’s reputation for quality, has created this key role that will shape the operational strategy and design for accommodating a 2-3x increase. The successful candidate will bring a defined track record for overseeing controlled growth and output and for innovative thinking, not only solving internal roadblocks but also in working through new solutions with customers. The role is hands-on in mentality and work ethic and equally strategic in design and forecasting, where both attributes are expressed through a calm, collaborative philosophy that enables people to succeed and create value.

Requirements

15-20 years of manufacturing operations experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a strong focus on design/production/operations management; ME/EE/IE
LEAN approach to production with a strong systems-oriented logic
Strong team development and staff management approach

Responsibilities

Shape the operational strategy and design for accommodating a 2-3x increase.
Oversee controlled growth and output.
Employ innovative thinking to solve internal roadblocks and work through new solutions with customers.
Be hands-on in mentality and work ethic, while also being strategic in design and forecasting.
Enable people to succeed and create value through a calm, collaborative philosophy.
Be a process-minded leader who understands customer timelines and requirements and can design systems and workflows to meet demand.
Implement a LEAN orientation and excellence mindset.
Manage and develop talent.
Ensure efficiency and a structured approach in all resource planning and allocation.
Communicate effectively and lead by example.
Build relationships from the shop floor through all management layers and to the executive suite.
