About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead food service operations for a Corporate Services account in Lima, OH. In this high-profile role, you will manage daily food service operations, financial performance, team development, and client relations. Responsibilities include budgeting, strategic planning, marketing, HR functions, and ensuring exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management as well as culinary arts with proven success in budget management, team leadership, and client engagement. Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams are essential for success in this role. Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a proven track record of strong leadership and food service management
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility, including budget forecasting and effective control of food and labor costs
- Excellent leadership and administrative abilities, including hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams
- A commitment to building and maintaining strong client and customer relationships through exceptional service
- High level culinary production experience and thorough knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate professionally, and deliver outstanding customer service with passion
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
- Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of front-of-house and back-of-house managers and frontline employees to ensure operational excellence across all units
- Oversee budgeting and financial performance, demonstrating strong financial acumen and cost control
- Train, mentor, and support a diverse team, fostering professional growth and high performance
- Cultivate a customer-focused culture with a proven ability to support organizational development and client satisfaction
- Build and maintain superior client relationships with executive presence, utilizing food management systems to streamline operations
