About The Position

Sodexo has an opportunity for a General Manager 4 to support our dining operations at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. The General Manager is a highly visible role - will direct and participate in all of the daily food operations. Responsibilities include overseeing overall food and service operations, working with unit financials, HR functions, direct customer interaction and management of employees.

Requirements

• Strong employee engagement leadership skills
• Previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Culinary production experience
• Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional communication skills
• Passion for a high level of customer service
• Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and proficient in computer skills and report management experience (for external candidates, this is not applicable)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years minimum management experience
• 5 years minimum functional experience
