About The Position

A growing, established custom building-products manufacturer is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a critical manufacturing operation through its next stage of growth. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a hands-on operational leader who knows how to improve quality, increase throughput, build accountability, and earn the trust of a production workforce. Demand for the company's products is strong. The opportunity now is to strengthen operational performance so the organization can fully capitalize on that demand. The incoming General Manager will have a meaningful mandate to stabilize operations, remove production constraints, improve product quality, and build the capacity needed to support continued growth. The right leader will not manage solely from an office—or through an iron fist. This position requires someone who is comfortable on the plant floor, understands the realities of custom manufacturing, and can hold people accountable while coaching, developing, and motivating the team.
