SodexoMagic and The Good Eating Company are seeking a dynamic, experienced General Manager to lead a top client in Foster City, California. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a fresh, innovative food program with a top-tier client who values creativity, hospitality, and exceptional dining experiences. The Good Eating Company is looking for a seasoned leader to oversee a multi‑faceted café operation across three locations . As the General Manager, you will hold full operational responsibility — guiding the management team, supporting frontline staff, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable, and elevated experience. We’re passionate about delectable, fresh food. Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operations leader in corporate dining, hospitality, or multi‑unit foodservice
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams
• Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Solid financial acumen, including P&L management and operational forecasting
• A passion for fresh, innovative food and a commitment to outstanding service
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across three cafés, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional hospitality
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation in partnership with culinary leadership
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong, trust‑based relationships
• Anticipate client needs and proactively introduce innovative service or operational solutions
