About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 2 – Multi-Service to lead Food Services and Environmental Services (EVS) at Eagleville Hospital, a 305-bed, independent, non-profit behavioral health and addiction treatment hospital. This role involves overseeing two critical support service departments, partnering with hospital leadership to enhance patient experience, operational performance, and service excellence. The position follows a recently renewed three-year client contract and requires a dynamic leader to build high-performing teams, strengthen employee engagement, and drive operational success.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple support service departments within healthcare
  • Experience leading Food Service and/or Environmental Services operations
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing frontline managers and employees
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor management, and operational reporting
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate teams and drive accountability
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and change management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of functional experience

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Multi-service leadership experience overseeing Food Service and Environmental Services
  • Experience with patient dining and in-room meal service programs
  • Catering and retail food service experience
  • Familiarity with Sodexo Healthcare systems and operational standards, including Sodexo Management System (SMS), is highly desirable
  • Experience managing behavioral health or acute care environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for both Food Services and Environmental Services
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 60 non-union Sodexo employees
  • Direct daily food service operations, including patient dining, in-room meal service, retail operations, and campus-wide meal distribution
  • Oversee Environmental Services operations while providing leadership and support to the EVS Manager
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with hospital leadership and key client stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, regulatory requirements, infection prevention practices, and quality assurance programs
  • Oversee budgets, labor management, financial performance, and operational KPIs
  • Support patient satisfaction initiatives and service excellence throughout the organization
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
