PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. PDS Optical is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team. This is a full-time position with normal days being Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:30am. The pay range for this position will be based off relevant experience. This position requires technical and maintenance experience. Optical experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities

Repair and Perform Preventative Maintenance on all lab machinery in production
Perform or schedule with outside contractors all other building maintenance as needed
Responsible for completing all maintenance service requests as assigned
Maintain all OSHA, Federal, State, Local and Company Safety Requirements for lab operations
Monitor and change all HVAC filters
Check and change light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed
Assist in heavy lifting, removing or rearranging furniture
