About The Position

The General Maintenance team member, described in the posting as an Engineer, maintains the hotel’s physical safety and functionality while helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role supports facilities across guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas at Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore. It responds to guest service requests and team member work orders, performs repairs and preventive maintenance, and documents inspections and completed work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest calls and team member work orders.
• Perform repairs and maintenance involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Record completed inspections and repairs and flag issues requiring further attention.
