About The Position

Bousquet Mountain is hiring seasonal full-time and part-time General Maintenance employees. The role prepares facilities for daily operations before the public arrives, maintains a clean facility, and supports existing operations during operating hours. Work includes setting up and maintaining parking lots, walking paths, patios and decks, cabanas, firepits, lifts, and lift mazes. Employees may also assist with snow and ice clearing and other lift maintenance or Mountain Operations needs. On-the-job training is offered. The position requires flexible availability because weather conditions may require snow removal or changes to shift start times. Employees may be assigned duties beyond their usual responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
Ability to work independently.
Strong work ethic.
Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, cold, and wind.
Ability to use power and hand tools.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds at a time.
Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Flexible availability for weather-related snow removal or changes to shift start times.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
Set up the mountain’s base area each day, including employee, main, maintenance, ski patrol, pump house, and Bousquet Sport/pond parking lots.
Maintain walking paths around the resort and access routes to parking lots and buildings, including salting and sanding as needed.
Maintain bollards and ropes, pick up trash, and put out necessary signage.
Clean and organize patio and deck chairs, ensure hardware is in place, check that firepit gas is on, and ensure firepits are off at the start of the day.
Clear snow from upper-deck tables, chairs, and spaces.
Clean, organize, and remove garbage from upper, lower, and Tube Town cabanas; keep firewood organized; and build firepits for scheduled lighting.
Sand Tube Town walking areas as needed.
Build lift mazes and put garbage at the bottom of each chair.
Help clear snow and ice from chairs on snow days.
Assist with lift maintenance and Mountain Operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
