About The Position

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a General Maintenance professional to join its Facilities team. The position responds to maintenance requests, performs general repairs throughout the property, maintains maintenance records, and helps ensure the club’s facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role reports directly to the Director of Facilities and helps preserve the quality, appearance, and operation of the historic property.

The work includes plumbing and wall repairs, replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting facility issues, supporting preventive maintenance across facilities and grounds, and keeping tools, equipment, supplies, and the work environment organized and secure. The position requires physical work across a large property, including outdoor work in varying weather conditions, and availability for a varied schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of general engineering and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to move throughout a large property and perform physically demanding work.
• Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests throughout the property.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, wall repairs, light bulb replacement, and other facility repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
• Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored and secured.
• Support preventative maintenance efforts across club facilities and grounds.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional facility maintenance projects as assigned.
