About The Position
Seeking an experienced General Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, buildings, and grounds. This is a full-time position located at Camp Pendleton, CA. The role involves maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment, completing grounds maintenance, and managing work orders and documentation. Adherence to environmental, health, and safety requirements is crucial.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with 240V single- and three-phase electrical systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, overhead doors, gates, lighting, and related equipment.
- Complete facility and grounds maintenance, including lawn care and equipment operation.
- Perform work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
- Maintain maintenance records and work order documentation.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
- Support operational tasks as assigned.
