About The Position

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to support one of our clients in the Northern, VA region. This role involves a variety of custodial and labor tasks to maintain facilities. The candidate must possess a Top-Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Minimum Knowledge High school diploma or GED is required.
• Specific training and thorough knowledge in the particular area of facility maintenance, plus a broad knowledge of other disciplines such as general math, etc., is required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Knowledge of applicable state and Federal laws and company policies and procedures is required.
• Must possess a valid state issued driver license.
• Must have a Top-Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience up to 6000lbs desired.
• A minimum of two (2) years of documented, verifiable training or experience with hazardous material desired.

Responsibilities

• Custodial tasks include but not limited to, dusting, washing, vacuuming, stripping & waxing floors, polishing, trash collection and removal, carpet cleaning, replenishment of toilet and kitchen supplies, use of dishwasher and stacking dishes, cleaning AC/Heating supply and return vents.
• Labor tasks include but not limited to, Grass cutting, changing light bulbs, trim weeds on fence line & around parking area, blow leaves & grass off parking lot, clean drains in parking lot.
• Areas where custodial & labor services shall be performed include, office areas, special purpose areas, toilet & shower areas, corridors, fixtures, ash receptacles, windows, lobbies, entrance ways, trash dumpster area, storage areas, weight room, conference rooms, garage area and kitchen areas, outside the building.
