About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Technician to join their Plant Operations Department at the Ontario location. This role involves performing various duties related to the maintenance of the hospital's grounds, parking lots, and facilities. The technician will assist with renovations, construction, and projects, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition and facilities are tidy and functional. They will also provide assistance to employees, visitors, and patients as needed.
Requirements
- Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company and acceptable driving record.
- Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- High School graduate or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Maintains walks, parking lots, and grounds.
- Assists with renovations, construction, and projects.
- Repairs, cleans, and maintains equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Ensures facilities are tidy and functional.
- Provides assistance to employees, visitors, and patients as necessary.
