What this job involves: As a Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical and plumbing equipment, along with general repair and labor tasks across assigned facilities. Working the evening shift from Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 Pm, Monday through Friday, you'll collaborate with fellow JLL Facilities team members on maintenance and repair efforts while also independently performing defined tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will span inspections and repairs to both interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, plumbing, and doors. What your day-to-day will look like: Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations Complete general interior maintenance tasks including light plumbing, hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing doors Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment as directed Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested Set up conference rooms and the conference center for events as needed Support the Electrician on the team occasionally with light electrical and lighting work Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo, ensuring accurate tracking of all work performed Comply with all safety procedures, complete Hazard Assessments as necessary, maintain good housekeeping, recognize safety hazards, and propose methods to eliminate them
