Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Previous maintenance or industrial experience preferred
Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement interpretation).
Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or similar systems preferred.
Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification required or ability to obtain.
Demonstrated understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures prior to working on equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
Maintain operating condition of plant equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs.
Assist with machine moves, installations, and rebuilds.
Support basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.
Operate facility equipment including floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other powered tools.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment aligned with 5S standards.
Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
Respond to maintenance requests to support production uptime.
Assist cross-functional teams with general facility and equipment needs.
Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
