GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECH
About The Position
The General Maintenance Technician Operator supports building and grounds maintenance at Saratoga Casino Hotel, including snow removal, and assists with racing events and associated equipment. The role uses a working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, while promoting friendly, prompt, and responsible service to guests and fellow Team Members. The technician completes and submits work request forms, assists other trades as needed, follows safe work procedures, uses personal protective equipment, and helps ensure compliance with applicable laws and OSHA regulations. Other duties may be assigned. The position requires working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds; standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods; lifting 85 pounds repeatedly; and working in extreme weather and a constantly changing environment. Selected applicants must complete an online onboarding process.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to work in extreme weather.
- Ability to lift 85 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
- Selected applicants must complete an online onboarding process.
