About The Position

Canyon Ranch is hiring a General Maintenance Tech for its new Canyon Ranch Austin wellness destination in the Texas Hill Country. The role maintains and enhances outdoor grounds, landscaping, gardens, and green spaces to uphold the resort’s luxury standards. Work includes routine groundskeeping, irrigation maintenance and repair, planting and seasonal plant care, upkeep of outdoor areas, and general outdoor property maintenance. Recruitment is underway, with anticipated start dates beginning in Fall 2026.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of general outdoor maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of Canyon Ranch standards of excellence and ability to deliver high-quality work and exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, with flexible schedules, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the property’s outdoor grounds, landscaping, gardens, and green spaces.
• Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, and seasonal plant care.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems to support proper watering and healthy landscaping.
• Plant, cultivate, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape features, including seasonal enhancements.
• Maintain outdoor walkways, patios, driveways, and landscaped areas for cleanliness, functionality, and appearance.
• Identify and address landscaping concerns, including drainage issues, pest infestations, and damaged or declining plant material.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Perform general outdoor maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, pressure washing, and other assigned property upkeep tasks.
