About The Position
Join JLL as a General Maintenance Technician and put your hands-on expertise to work maintaining critical building systems. This role is perfect for experienced maintenance professionals who excel at troubleshooting HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing issues. You'll be the go-to problem solver for our client's facility, using your technical skills and practical knowledge to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or facilities operations
- Proven experience with HVAC equipment including air handling units, rooftop units, and vent hoods
- Electrical troubleshooting skills with ability to use a multimeter for diagnostics
- Plumbing maintenance experience including faucet and toilet repairs, and drain clearing
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and building management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing, stooping, and reaching
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

- Experience with fire life safety systems
- Familiarity with Maximo CMMS or similar maintenance management software

- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on air handling units, rooftop units, and vent hoods
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeters and other diagnostic tools
- Handle plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, and clearing stopped-up drains
- Monitor building management systems and respond to service requests promptly
- Execute preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems
- Respond to emergency situations and provide after-hours support when needed
- Update and maintain Maximo CMMS documentation for all maintenance activities
- Coordinate with building personnel and vendors to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain parts inventory and ensure proper documentation of all work performed.
