International Paper is seeking a General Maintenance Tech (A) for their Bowling Green Box Facility. This is a full-time, hourly position working a 12-hour night shift on a 24/7 rotating schedule. The role involves performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on corrugating and converting equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, control system, and robotic issues to minimize downtime, and diagnosing equipment failures using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis. The technician will work with PLC systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens), maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems from 24V to 480V, and perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on various components including VFDs, photo eyes, limit switches, servo motors, and motion control systems. Basic understanding of FANUC robots is also required for collaboration on troubleshooting and teach pendant use. The position also includes performing preventative maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, presses, and stackers, fabricating equipment through welding, and making adjustments to improve productivity. Accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage is essential.
