About The Position

General Maintenance I provides proper care for campgrounds and other recreation areas by maintaining grounds and facilities. The Maintenance Technician works under the direct supervision of the manager assigned to the area. This is a seasonal position for the 2027 season in the Spanish Fork District.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical skills and facility maintenance abilities.
• Familiarity with company and partnering agency policies and guidelines, or willingness to become familiar with them.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak visitation periods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, mowing, weed trimming, cleaning, landscaping, facility repairs, and other general maintenance tasks in assigned areas.
• Maintain and service equipment, keeping company equipment in operable and safe working condition.
• Pick up trash throughout recreation areas, roadsides, and campgrounds.
• Keep trash barrels emptied and the areas around them neat and clean.
• Inform the supervisor about maintenance and facility needs and required supply levels.
• Assist hosts with miscellaneous duties as needed.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to customers and visitors.
