About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Boston is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to join its dynamic Engineering Team. The main purpose of this role is to provide service, preventative maintenance, and repairs for all kitchen equipment throughout the hotel, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of food & beverage outlets. The engineer will also perform general building maintenance, emergency repair duties, and participate in shift rotations as needed to support overall Engineering operations. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- High school education or equivalent
- 3 months to 1 year in kitchen maintenance, general building maintenance, or hotel engineering
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, gas, steam, refrigeration, dish machines, emergency repair response, and general building maintenance
- Flexible schedule with availability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide service, preventative maintenance, and repairs for all kitchen equipment throughout the hotel
- Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of food & beverage outlets
- Perform general building maintenance
- Perform emergency repair duties
- Participate in shift rotations as needed to support overall Engineering operations
