Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Journeyman's License and/or a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering
  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Five years experience in one or more of the following trades: Millwright, Building Maintenance, Machinist, Electrical/Electronic, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic
  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • Ability to read precision gauges
  • Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
  • Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
  • Work on assigned projects
  • Fabricate and install new equipment
  • Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Utilize safe work habits
  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.
