About The Position

Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join their growing team.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 5 years of General Liability litigation experience.
• Ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new files.
• Client communications.
• Discovery production.
• Conduct Depositions.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery.
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial listings.
• Motions and trial.
