Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience (financial reporting, audit, or aviation/aerospace preferred)
Solid understanding of GAAP principles
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in aviation or MRO industry accounting
Familiarity with cost accounting and operational efficiency metrics

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all accounts
Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and adjustments
Play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Perform detailed account reconciliations and proactively investigate variances
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Partner with auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses
Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement
Analyze financial data to uncover insights and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, payroll, and operations teams
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation (as applicable)
