About The Position
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the General labour packs, ties, labels, counts and identifies wood using various handling equipment.
Requirements
- Able to count and identify wood products of various sizes.
- Basic maths skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms.
- Must have own steel-toed boots.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Must have own reliable transportation. The site is not served by public transport.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma is an asset
Responsibilities
- Operate wood handling equipment on the stacking line.
- Tie, wrap and occasionally stack wood by hand.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Comply with all workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Respect customer service commitments.
