About The Position

We are currently hiring General Labourers to join our civil construction crew in Calgary. This position involves assisting in various aspects of infrastructure and site work, including excavation support, shoveling, raking, grading, and general clean-up duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction and as a general labour is required
• Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and out-of-town as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Safety certifications (CSTS2020, WHIMIS2015, Ground Disturbance II)
• Strong work ethic and team-player attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform general labour tasks on construction sites
• Assist with site preparation, grading, gravel placement, and concrete support
• Operate small tools and equipment as needed (e.g., plate tampers, jackhammers)
• Set up and take down signage, fencing, and other safety controls
• Shovel, rake, and level materials such as gravel or soil
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Follow direction from foremen and equipment operators
• Adhere to all company and safety regulations
