Production Labourer – Afternoon Shift
About The Position
We are looking for a General Labourer to join our afternoon shift in our cutting department. Monday – Thursday | 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Working as part of our plasma and laser cutting team, you'll help keep production moving by ensuring materials flow safely and efficiently through the cutting process. This role is responsible for unloading finished parts from our plasma and laser tables, removing scrap skeletons, loading new steel sheets for processing, and staging cut parts for the next step in production. This is a physically active, hands-on position where you'll spend your shift moving materials, working alongside machine operators, and contributing directly to production output. Responsibilities
- Unload finished parts from plasma and laser cutting tables
- Remove scrap skeletons following the cutting process
- Load steel sheets onto cutting tables using overhead material handling equipment
- Sort, stage, and organize cut parts for downstream production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support production by ensuring cutting operations continue without interruption
- Follow all health and safety procedures while working in a manufacturing environment
