About The Position

As a General Labourer with our Sewer Repair team, you will complete underground rehabilitation and lining projects safely and efficiently. You will support field operations through equipment setup, confined space work, and hands-on labour tasks in a variety of job site conditions. You will also assist with infrastructure inspections, maintenance, and rehabilitation activities. Communication with crew members is essential for safe and efficient project completion. Responsibilities include setting up traffic control plans, signage, and safety equipment in accordance with Book 7. You will also complete operational documentation, assist with routine equipment maintenance, and help maintain safe and organized job sites.

Requirements

  • Mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Experience working in construction, underground infrastructure, or other physically demanding outdoor labour environments preferred
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding labour, including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment, traffic control setups, and active construction or municipal job sites
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including long days, night shifts, overtime, and out-of-town assignments
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced field environments

Nice To Haves

  • Safety certifications including Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and First Aid are considered assets
