Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent with apprenticeship/trade school preferred
Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing facility is considered an asset
Mechanical aptitude is considered and asset for this role
Highly flexible, proactive and self-motivated
Commitment to safety and the environment
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs and work in an outdoor environment
Effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Work in an outdoor environment providing general labour duties
Conducting work in bag collectors
Landscaping, salting, and snow removal on company grounds
Cleaning (garbage, debris other waste) and painting in various areas of the plant
Clean up of spills on the plant grounds (carbon black, oil etc.)
Assisting the maintenance team with various jobs around the plant
