About The Position
De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (DHC) is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labourer to join their manufacturing team in Sidney, BC. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the facility. This role is for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and values safety and quality.
Requirements
- Able to safely set up and operate shop equipment
- Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing operation is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift is preferred
Responsibilities
- Janitorial work and shop clean up as required.
- When assigned to manufacturing; deburring, part marking, part cleaning, shearing, sawing and cutting of materials.
- Transport materials, finished products, and equipment throughout plant.
- Assist the Maintenance Mechanics when required.
