Requirements

Legally authorized to work in Canada
Able to work in hot or cold conditions
Able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, with notice
Able to work with machinery

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Certification to operate a forklift
Able to work at heights
Ability to perform physical tasks that may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Ensures the plant and yard are clean and safe for customers and employees
Assists with inventory management
Participates in training sessions and provincial and federal regulatory and compliance programs at Cargill, including WHMIS, forklifts, etc.
Participates in regular plant inspections and monthly meetings to review procedures, housekeeping, and safety awareness.
Produces, bags, and distributes feed intended for animal nutrition.
