About The Position
General Labour Workers will work in a fast-paced environment and duties will vary depending on which sector they work in but could include anything from feeding materials into machinery, assembling items, packaging items, or storing items. Requirements
- Must be available for full time work.
- Completion of high school or GED equivalent
- Comfortable working in refrigeration with loud noise and odors
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Basic computer skills
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
Responsibilities
- Opens meat products for assigned tables (directed by supervisor)
- Physical counts on raw materials on a daily basis.
- Follow and maintain all HACCP regulations.
- Assist with garbage disposal (ie: boxes/de-bagging materials).
- Assist with the trimmings from steak machines.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent quality, sanitation, safety, and production standards.
- Perform duties as required.
