About The Position
Darling International Canada Inc. is seeking a short-term General Labourer/Driver for their Winnipeg location. This role involves travelling to customer sites to wash and replace green bins, as well as washing truck and trailer equipment. This is a 6-month contract position starting immediately, focused on environmental sustainability and responsible waste management services for the food industry.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required
- Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable working independently
Responsibilities
- Operating a wash van within the yard and travelling to customer sites
- Cleaning and washing grease bins and minor spills
- Assisting with general yard clean-up and maintenance
- Following safety procedures and standard operating procedures
