About The Position

AROW Global LTD. Winnipeg, MB, is currently looking for General Labourers in our OEM department. In this department, you will be working with metal-fabricated parts used in various industries, including packaging, deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, and preparing them for shipment based on work orders and quality requirements. The position involves working with metal-fabricated parts, packaging, deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, and preparing them for shipment. The role requires the ability to read and interpret drawings, use precision measurement instruments, and assist the production team. It is a team-oriented environment focused on completing orders on time. The job demands physical strength and stamina for lifting and moving large metal pieces and standing for extended periods. Understanding the importance of quality products and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are essential. Additionally, the role requires operating machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all Health & Safety policies, and wearing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Company is considered an asset.
  • Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously when required.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging, deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, and preparing metal-fabricated parts for shipment.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and breakdowns.
  • Using precision measurement instruments.
  • Assisting the production team with various duties.
  • Working in a team environment to complete orders on time.
  • Lifting and moving large pieces of metal and standing for hours at a time.
  • Understanding the importance of producing quality products.
  • Working unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Following all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Wearing all necessary PPE required for all positions.
