About The Position

This position involves both skilled and unskilled labor to support various roadway and airport projects. Teamwork is essential, as laborers will assist supervisors and foremen to ensure project success.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license (must be maintained)
At least 21 years of age
Willing to travel out of state
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test (random testing required)

Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding tasks: lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Work in outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather, airborne particles, and loud noise
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): hard hats, gloves, goggles, steel-toe boots, etc.
Operate and maintain small machinery, sealing equipment, and power tools
Drive trucks with trailers, including turning and backing
Assist in inventory tracking, fleet reporting, and job site organization
Perform entry-level tasks, pressure washing, flagging, and small machinery use
Operate hot tar kettles, bevel saws, and assist with sealant work
Perform crack routing, joint sealing, and skid steer operations
Perform traffic control setup, saw cutting, and compression seal installation
