About The Position

Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for a General Laborer in Albany, GA. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
No experience required.
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable.
Ability to focus and learn from superiors while being self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
Must be able to follow specific directions.
Must perform a variety of duties which may often change.
Must work within standards of accuracy.
Must be able to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
Must be able to evaluate information using measurable standards.

Responsibilities

Assists Electrician to install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Assists with manual labor.
Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit.
Drills holes for wiring and pulls or pushes wire through opening.
Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects (i.e. wiring, conduit, and motors).
Performs minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches.
Disassembles defective electrical equipment.
Uses hand tools and power tools, and other equipment as needed to perform tasks.
