About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to support its manufacturing operations and help maintain a continuous, steady production flow of molded rubber goods. This is a labor-intensive role that involves handling, moving, loading, and lacing tires ranging from passenger-car tires to semi-truck tires. Work takes place in all types of weather and in a plant environment that may include extreme heat or cold and proximity to moving mechanical parts. The role also involves stacking finished products on pallets and loading trucks. Teamwork is required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently stand for 9 hours a day and walk.
• Use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear.
• Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
• Ability to work in extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts, and in a work environment where noise may be moderate or loud.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment.

Responsibilities
