About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to support production of molded rubber goods and help maintain a continuous, steady production flow. This very labor-intensive role involves moving, loading, and lacing tires ranging from passenger-car to semi-truck tires, as well as stacking finished products on pallets and loading trucks. The work takes place in all weather conditions and involves exposure to temperature extremes and moving mechanical parts. The work environment is usually moderately noisy, but may be loud in production areas. The position requires frequent standing, walking, handling materials, reaching, and other physical activity.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently stand for 9 hours a day.
• Ability to walk; use hands to handle or feel; talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in extreme cold and heat related to weather.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment.

Responsibilities
