About The Position

LRI, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a full-time General Laborer to support operations at the 304th Street Landfill in Graham, WA. This role involves working outdoors daily on a 320-acre active landfill, supporting systems and processes to ensure safe and compliant operations. Responsibilities include walking the site, checking wells, monitoring conditions, and supporting day-to-day operations. This is a physical, hands-on position requiring awareness, consistency, and a strong focus on safety. It offers a long-term opportunity with potential for internal promotion into equipment operation, environmental work, or leadership positions. Requirements

Valid driver's license
At least one year of work experience
Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to meet the physical demands outlined above
Candidates selected for an offer of employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, including marijuana, and provide a motor vehicle report (MVR) in accordance with Washington State requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties across the landfill site
Walk designated areas to inspect and support landfill gas wells, environmental systems, and hot spots
Assist with stormwater, landfill gas, and leachate management system maintenance
Complete general site cleanup and housekeeping tasks
Direct incoming and outgoing traffic to maintain safe site flow
Operate small equipment as assigned
Provide professional communication with customers, drivers, and team members
