American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a General Laborer - 2nd Shift to support our Cleveland operations. The role involves the general sorting of metals on the premises. Requirements
- Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools
- Superb Customer Service
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to consistently lift or move up to 100lbs
- Must be able to stand, reach, walk, stoop, and crawl
- Ability to work as a team
- Familiar with OSHA regulations
- Excellent attendance and safety record
Nice To Haves
- Experience in metal recycling
Responsibilities
- Receiving, sorting, and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys (e.g., aluminum, copper, and brass)
- Operating a 30lb cut-off saw and baler
- Cleaning and shearing of radiators
- Performing other general labor duties
- Working with a safety-oriented mindset
