About The Position
The General Laborer position is an entry-level position that includes performing duties for various trades in the field and general labor at our facilities. This position assists both our field technicians and office staff to perform various duties and work more productively.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing, Electric and HVAC experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform various physical duties as assigned
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Assist with loading and unloading tools, parts, and materials
- Safely and responsibly operate a company vehicle and equipment
- Follow directions from management to ensure projects get completed safely and efficiently
- Work with various tools, machinery, and supplies safely
- Maintain all safety standards while performing job duties
- Daily maintenance activities at company facilities
- Potential opportunities for on-call and weekends
- Additional duties as assigned
