About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a precast concrete manufacturer. The General Laborer cuts strand and assists with pouring concrete in a bed as needed to produce concrete members. The role also supports housekeeping and other plant tasks and requires the ability to weld. Employees must follow all safety and quality rules and processes to maintain a safe working environment and produce high-quality products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to weld.
• Follow safety and quality rules and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and roll torches, steel, and tool buggies to the bed; unload materials.
• Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channel, insulation, and related materials.
• Pull strand and thread bulkheads, blockouts, frames, and dead man; cut strand with a grinder and place chucks on the ends.
• Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, and chair flange wire; place forms and side plates.
• Prepare for concrete pours and assist with pouring concrete as necessary.
• Clean around beds after members are stripped and dispose of trash and scrap wood.
• Assist with housekeeping and other plant tasks.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor.
• Follow safety and quality rules and processes.
• Weld.
