About The Position

Workhorse Staffing Company is hiring a full-time Shop Laborer in St. Johns, Michigan. The position is with a family-owned company that manufactures screening and sizing media for industries including mining, construction, and pharmaceuticals. The role involves preparing orders for delivery, pulling and verifying materials, and supporting production operations in a team environment. The work schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday, with Friday optional, and ten-hour workdays. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Have legible handwriting.
• Be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Be able to use a variety of hand tools.
• Be willing to learn and perform new tasks.
• Be dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of steel machinery, including shear and brake press, is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
