About The Position

As a Production Laborer, you play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining Techo-Bloc’s quality standards. This is a physically demanding position that requires precision and reliability. You will be responsible for inspecting concrete products for quality, shape, color, and consistency, removing defective products, and sorting, packaging, wrapping, and preparing products for shipping. You will also transport raw materials and finished products, assist machine operators, and clean machines and the work environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, active work, take pride in punctuality, and are looking for stable hours, good pay, and a long-term career in manufacturing.

Requirements

• Punctual and dependable — being on time is essential for production
• Comfortable lifting and moving up to 23 kg (50 lb) regularly
• Able to stay focused during 12-hour shifts
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• A strong team player with a solid work ethic
• Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect concrete products (quality, shape, color, consistency)
• Remove defective products and replace them with compliant pieces
• Sort, package, wrap, and prepare products for shipping
• Transport raw materials and finished products, manually or using equipment
• Assist machine operators with daily tasks
• Clean machines and maintain a clean and safe work environment
